Payment Policy
Payment and Credit Terms:
We accepts cash, checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. We reserve the right to charges a convenience fee of 3% with use of credit cards for payments.
For retail customers only:
We use Square as our online storefront. This allows us to offer "Buy Now", "Buy Now, Pay Later", "Custom Billing", and "Gift Card" options.
The "Buy Now, Pay Later" option is through Afterpay. Afterpay is a buy now, pay later (BNPL) payment option that allows customers to pay for their purchases over time with transparent spending limits. Customers can choose to pay for in-person or online orders in four interest-free installments over six weeks. With Square Invoices, customers can choose to Pay Monthly over 6 or 12 months for larger online purchases, with interest.
For welding and fabrication customers only:
For customers with established credit, payment terms are net fifteen (15) days from the date of shipment or pick-up of products. Any credit extended to customers, and the limits of such credit, is at Mauz Metals LLC sole discretion, and may be reduced or revoked at any time, for any reason.
Mauz Metals LLC reserves the right to charge customer a finance fee at the rate of one and one-half percent (1-1/2%) of the amount due for each month or portion thereof that the amount due remains unpaid plus an additional fee of $35 for generating an updated invoice for each month the amount due remains unpaid, or such amount as may be permitted under applicable law.
If customer fails to make payment within fifteen (15) days of shipment or pick-up, or fails to comply with Mauz Metals LLC credit terms within a reasonable time after requested by Mauz Metals LLC (such time as specified in the request), Mauz Metals LLC may defer orders until such payment or compliance is made, require cash in advance for any further orders, demand immediate payment of all amounts then owed, elect to pursue collection action (including without limitation, attorney fees and any and all other associated costs of collection), and/or may, at its option, cancel all or any part of an unshipped order.
Customer agrees to assume responsibility for, and guarantees payment of all purchases made by customer, its subsidiaries and affiliates. Each of customer’s subsidiaries and affiliates purchasing are jointly and severally liable for purchases with customer, and customer is also acting as agent for such subsidiaries and affiliates.
